The ABC’s of 2018

My first blog post of 2019, hopefully many more to follow. I will be sharing with you the happenings and events that occured 2018 starting with the ABC’s, the images I have chosen to share with you twenty-six images that represent part of what I did in 2018
So I begin 2019 looking back at all the events, gatherings, occasions, projects that I was invited to be a part of in 2018. I have created the ABC’s because it is the easiest way for me to sort through the thousands of images that were taken. As well I have a lot of fun trying to come up with new words and themes to the various hats that I wear while doing them. Some of the nouns, verbs and adjectives I came up with are as follows … dance, elopement, happy, laugh, marriage, red, statue, portrait, communion, Italy, frames, travel check out the photographs to view the rest.
I do consider myself to be a multidisciplinary artist. My camera is my main tool, but I truly enjoy the creative process with many of the projects that I am part of. Whether it be a wedding, near or far, a family portrait session at a cottage, a sacrament of a young child, a business headshot of a girlboss or professional, or the commercial work for small or large businesses; they all cater to different side of my creativity.
Lately I’ve been adding to my portfolio interior photography as well working on a variety of different gallery walls for designers in local Toronto area. Design has always been a love of mine and seeing spaces created for various families and business is always interesting for me to be a part of. Part of the interior design world that I adore is seeing what people have chosen as their artwork for their walls.
Oh those gallery walls I can’t get enough of them. My love for art and visiting museums comes into play when creating these gallery walls, family walls, I see them as a small exhibition for ones’ home or place of business. I assist in curating images and bringing their visions to life.
I hope to continue my ABC’s next one will all about Spring. My next blog post will be about the Wedding I photographed in Monza Italy in 2018.
Thank you to all my clients, fans, family, colleagues, I am thrilled to be part of your world.
